Studio coordinator

As a Studio Coordinator
You are personable, outgoing, hardworking, dependable, communicative, and of course, passionate about Yoga and fitness. You are seeking to inspire our students and teachers and believe in the Power of Community. You will be accountable for maintaining an easy flow in a Front Desk, Yoga Classroom and common/lobby areas. When on duty, ensure that the physical studio space meets the high standards of cleanliness and functionality, inspiring music, and clean and clutter-free surroundings. You act as an ambassador of the Yoga Hell Brooklyn both inside and outside of the studio. You will be supporting the Studio Managers in achieving company and studio goals, including membership growth and Sales. You will be trained to understand and efficiently use CRM system MINDBODY to sign students in, sell packages and memberships, and explore and correct problems with student accounts when at the desk. You must have an ability to build relationships with individuals with diverse personalities and styles and at different levels of seniority. You are a liaison between the Studio Managers and the Teachers and the Students, communicating and coordinating studio operational systems.

Health and Safety Management in The Studio

  • Personally cleaning all studio spaces to Yoga Hell Brooklyn standards, and educating students on our updated cleaning protocols
  • Work with your Studio Manager to maintain an appropriate level of studio supplies so that all provisions and amenities are available for all students at all times
  • Communicate to Yoga Hell Brooklyn Karma Kleaners team and teachers ensuring the studio is in a tidy condition.

Studio Presence and Guiding the Student Experience

  • Act as an ambassador of the Yoga Hell Brooklyn both inside and outside of the studio; consistently inspire these values in others, engage and know your studio community; greet students by name, spend quality time at the front desk fostering community
  • Studio Presence and Guiding the Student Experience. Coordinate and hold full studio team and students accountable to studio zone capacities; when on duty, ensure that the physical studio space meets the high standards of cleanliness and functionality including optimum heat and humidity, inspiring music, and clean and clutter-free surroundings.
  • Commit to a minimum of 19 hours per week in studio with some weeks flexing higher in hours, some less. This requires flexibility in service of the studio including acting as “on call” coordinator as needed
  • Availability must match the needs of the business and leadership zig-zag schedules: morning, evening, weekend and some holiday availability and flexibility required

Grow the Business & Sales

  • Take personal responsibility for the continued revenue, profitability, and cultural growth of our studio by setting clear and actionable studio-level goals
  • Train and inspire our clients on Packages and Memberships for retention and growth goals
  • Partner with your Manager in touch base meetings to set studio goals, and collaborate on the progress of what’s working and what’s not yet
  • Provide solution-oriented feedback to your Manager which would enhance the student experience and overall success of the company without judgment, fear, or blame
  • You expand Yoga Hell Brooklyn’s influence within your community and on your studio’s social media platforms to enroll new students and company partners
  • Achieving sales goals by merchandising new items, executing markdowns and sales, and maintaining visual excellence at all times

Intern - karma Cleaner

Free yoga classes in exchange for 6 hours/week of your in studio help

We are the best and cleanest boutique hot yoga studio in the entire city and we are offering you Free Practice in exchange for 2 shifts (3 hours each) of your help!

What we need your help us with:

  • Light cleaning and maintenance of the studio
  • Help to sign students into classes

     

You don’t have to be experienced-we provide training!
